Motability is a charity which helps disabled people of all ages to get around. It does this by helping them to use some or all of their Disability Living Allowance (DLA) at the higher rate Motability component, or War Pensioners Suppliment to buy or lease a car.

By offering new Ford cars on an extremely favourable contract hire scheme, we help people with mobility issues to live their lives to the fullest. To qualify for a new car under the Contract Hire Scheme or Hire Purchase Plan of Motability, you must be in receipt of either:
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or
- War Pension Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
The award of your DLA or WPMS must be for a minimum period of 3 years to qualify for a Contract Hire vehicle, or for 4 or 5 years for a Hire Purchase Plan vehicle.
In both cases, supply of a vehicle is subject to your application being accepted and authorised by Motability.
